Focus all your attention on your 60-Second Mindful Moment. Avoid any distractions until you complete this brief and powerful process. Repeat the following steps every time you read a mindful moment!
- Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. The breath should go in and out through the nose and go all the way down to your belly. Breathe relaxed, rhythmically, and silently. Smile, this must be pleasing and fun!
- Whenever possible, place your right hand over your heart. Open your eyes and begin reading mentally or aloud.
