Lavender is well known and documented for it’s effect on burns and the pain associated with. I can attest for this, as I got a Huge, Nasty burn from the pipes on my motorcycle this past summer, sitting on it, burned my leg, then dropped it, burned myself some more!

Chamomile Essential Oil
Maybe at one time or another, you’ve had a cup of chamomile tea to help relax you and calm your nerves. Turns out that this powerful oil can help to combat headaches and relax lower back and muscle pain. When applied directly it can also ease the pain of TMJ and even cramping associated with PMS. Chamomile essential oil is anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-spasmodic. It can help with inflamed joints, muscle tension, burns and cuts, menopausal issues, open sores, and toothaches.
Chamomile is gentle enough to use with infants and children, for teething pains, earaches, colic, fevers and stomachaches. Chamomile essential oil can be taken with one drop to a tsp of honey, or 4 oz of liquid, for adults, less for children. It may also be applied directly to the area of concern, diluted with a carrier oil, or diffused.
Internal consumption is not recommended for children under 6 yrs.
Clary Sage Essential Oil
Clary Sage, one of the most common essential oils for pain relief, is an anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, anti-fungal, antiseptic that is soothing, warming and sedating. The massage oil that is melting the pain away in high end spas contains clary sage!

This is a powerful substance and it should be noted that drinking alcohol doesn’t mix well with it.
Juniper Essential Oil

Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Pain can melt away in seconds when eucalyptus oil is applied to the skin. It helps to ease inflammation and can curb muscle pain. As you massage it into an area, you’ll feel its effects go deeper in the body. Best of all, you can even benefit from the analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of the oil.
Eucalyptus essential oil can be helpful for migraines, sinusitis, burns, gallstones, rheumatism, skin infections, sores, wounds, and general aches and pains.
Apply to area of concern, diffuse, or place one drop under and on each side of nose for quick sinus relief. May be taken internally by diluting one drop of oil in a tsp of honey, or 4 oz of liquid.
